This dishwasher is so quiet! My house has an open floor plan and you can barely hear it. I've been so happy with it. It cleans great and I love the 3rd rack and the adjustability of the racks and tongs. My kitchen is still under construction so I don't have the cabinet panel on the front yet and without weight in the bottom rack the door likes to spring close, but I think that will be fixed once the cabinet front is added to weigh it down.

A wonderful dishwasher! It met all of my expectations and more. It is very quiet. So quiet that you do not even know it is on. And the dishes and pans are superbly cleaned. A dream to use. I could not be happier. I truly do love it.

Super quiet, easy to use after read the instructions. Cleans the dishes very well but make sure you read the manual. We're using the recommended detergent, rinse aid, and salt. Only criticism is that it doesn't tell you that it's clean (no silent indicator) because we disabled the really annoying beeping. We run the unit at night and the beeper goes off for hours.

I've been using this dishwasher for about a month now, and it performs much better than our previous dishwasher, which I thought was pretty good. I've been using the recommended dishwashing soap and drying liquid, and the dishes come out cleaner than previously. My husband noticed too, that the glasses sparkle. It's taken me a bit of experimenting to figure out how to fit everything we use in the dishwasher, but the three trays are very adaptable, and we're getting better at fitting all the pots and plates along with the glasses and utensils. It helps that the light comes on to tell us it's running, as the dishwasher is also very quiet. Although it was expensive, I sprang for the top-of-the-line model because it was the only one that automatically cuts off if it's in danger of flooding. I really love this appliance and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality machine.

As the single most expensive Bosch dishwasher available, I understandably expected great results. In general, that is the case. Having said that, it is still, after all, a dishwasher and it retains many of the shortcomings of all dishwashers. It is quiet, but clearly audible for much of the cycle. If bowls / pans /cups aren't carefully placed, they of course retain water and don't dry. And unless you pre-rinse items with any manner of sticky or clinging food, they will not come clean despite claims to the contrary. The racks (save for the upper, 3rd rack) do not inspire confidence - it's an aggravation to adjust them or flip the tines up or down, as the racks seem flimsy and move around when you apply any force to them. The unit will not turn itself off after a cycle - it stays on, beeping, apparently so that you know it's finished but the light on the floor going off serves that purpose. It doesn't have WiFi, surprisingly, some of the lower cost units do. The top controls are not illumiated - so while there's a nice hi res multicolor display, you need external lighting to see the top mounted controls enough to use them. The press and hold requirement for power is an annoyance - I have no idea why it's set up this way - so that it doesn't come on when you wipe off the controls?
On the positive side, the built in water softener is a great help with hard water. The third rack for utensils works quite well (so long as there's no food sticking to them). I like the rinse only cycle for when you don't have a full load and want to delay a day or two prior to wash. I generally get good, spot free cleaning on glassware and tableware.
Overall, I'd think you can likely get 75% or more of the features / performance of this model for 50% of the price with an 800 series unit (and WiFi!).

We absolutely are in love with our new dishwasher. It is so quiet that we actually have to go check to make sure that it is really running. This dishwasher outperforms our previous "top of the line" model by so much that it isn't even a contest. Don't try to take my Bosch away!
